1. Japan has started issuing multiple entry visas for short term to Indians, which could lead to more business and leisure travel between the two countries.The new regime will allow Indian visitors to spend up to 15 days on a visit, with the visa likely to be valid for three years.
जापान ने दोनों देशों के बीच और अधिक व्यापार व अवकाश यात्रा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए भारतीयों के लिए लघु अवधि के लिए एकाधिक प्रवेश वीजा जारी करना शुरू कर दिया है। नई नियमों के अनुसार भारतीय आगंतुकों को तीन साल की वैधता वाले वीजा के साथ, एक यात्रा पर 15 दिन तक खर्च करने का अवसर प्राप्त होगा।
2. Telangana may present its maiden budget in August 14, and the new State may start off with a small revenue surplus. The size of the maiden budget of new Telangana State is likely to be pegged at Rs. 70,000 crore. A senior official in the Telangana Government said as things stood at present, the Plan size would be in the neighbourhood of Rs. 20,000 crore, while the Non-Plan component could be Rs. 50,000 crore.
नव सृजित तेलंगाना राज्य अगस्त 14 में अपना पहला बजट पेश कर सकता है, और नया राज्य एक छोटे से राजस्व अधिशेष के साथ अपने बजट की शुरूआत कर सकता हैं। नए तेलंगाना राज्य के पहले बजट का आकार 70,000 करोड़ रुपये होने का अनुमान है। तेलंगाना सरकार के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के अनुसार वर्तमान स्थिति के अनुसार, योजनागत व्यय का आकार लगभग 20,000 करोड़ रुपये, और गैर योजनागत व्यय घटक लगभग 50,000 करोड़ रुपये होगा।
3. Software services major Infosys today announced a tie-up with the Philippines-based SMART Enterprise to develop new industry solutions in the areas of Machine to Machine (M2M) Communication and Internet of Everything (IoE). These solutions are aimed at enabling organisations to listen, respond and make predictions based on machine-generated data.

4. The encouraging response for 5kg LPG cylinders has prompted Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd to look at introducing 3kg and 2kg cylinders in the market. George Paul, Executive Director (LPG), BPCL, said that a move in this regard was taken following the good customer feedback received by the company after launching the 5 kg cylinder in various cities including the metros.

5. The Chief Operating Officer of Facebook, Ms. Sheryl Sandberg, called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on 03rd July 2014. She said India is a very important country for Facebook, considering the high number of active Facebook users in India. The Prime Minister discussed with Ms. Sandberg, ways through which a platform such as Facebook can be used for governance and better interaction between the people and governments.
फेसबुक की मुख्य संचालन अधिकारी सुश्री शेरिल सैंडबर्ग ने 03 जुलाई को प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी से मुलाकात की। उन्होंने कहा कि फेसबुक से जुड़े भारतीयों की बड़ी संख्या को देखते हुए भारत फेसबुक के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण देश है। प्रधानमंत्री ने सरकार और लोगों के बीच बेहतर संवाद और सुशासन के लिए फेसबुक को एक मंच के रूप में इस्तेमाल करने के बारे में सुश्री सैंडबर्ग से चर्चा की।
6. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on 3rd July announced the decision of the Government of India to introduce four new vaccines as part of India’s Universal Immunization Programme (UIP). Vaccines against rotavirus, rubella and polio (injectable) will collectively expedite India’s progress on meeting the Millennium Development Goal 4 targets to reduce child mortality by two-thirds by the year 2015 and meet global polio eradication targets. In addition, an adult vaccine against Japanese encephalitis will be introduced in districts with high levels of the disease.
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने 03 जुलाई को भारत के वैश्विक प्रतिरक्षण कार्यक्रम (यूआईपी) के एक हिस्से के रूप में चार नये वैक्सीन जारी करने के भारत सरकार के निर्णय की घोषणा की। रोटा वायरस, रूबेला और पोलियो (इनजेक्टेबल) के खिलाफ वैक्सीन के माध्यम से एक साथ मिलकर भारत में वर्ष 2015 तक बच्चों की मृत्यु दर को दो-तिहाई तक घटाने का सहस्राब्दी विकास लक्ष्य प्राप्त करना है और वैश्विक स्तर पर पोलियो के खात्मे का लक्ष्य हासिल करना है। इसके अलावा जापानी मस्तिष्क ज्वर के खिलाफ ज्यादा पीडि़त जिलों में व्यस्कों के लिए एक वैक्सीन भी शुरू किया जाएगा।
7. Senator McCain conveyed the high level of expectations in the United States about a new momentum in India`s economic growth and all-round progress under the new Government and wished Prime Minister all success in this endeavour. He also conveyed the keen desire in the United States to work with Prime Minister Modi to revitalise the India-U.S. Strategic Partnership.

8. The Oil Marketing Companies have revised the price of non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinders beyond the annual cap of 12 cylinders by Rs. 16.50 with effect from midnight of 30th June/1st July 2014 in accordance with international prices. More than 99% customers use less than 12 cylinders per year and thus will remain unaffected by this hike. This price increase will affect only less than 1% of consumers who consume more than 12 cylinders per annum.
तेल विपणन कम्पनियों ने अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय मूल्यों के अनुसार साल में मिलने वाले 12 सिलेन्डरों के अलावा बिना सब्सिडी वाले घरेलू एलपीजी सिलेन्डरों पर 30 जून की मध्यरात्रि से 16.50 रुपए की बढ़ोतरी की है। 99 प्रतिशत से अधिक उपभोक्ता सालभर में 12 से कम सिलेन्डर उपयोग करते है। इस प्रकार इस मूल्य वृद्धि से कोई विशेष प्रभाव नहीं पडेगा। इस मूल्य वृद्धि से हर साल 12 से अधिक सिलेन्डर उपयोग करने वाली 1 प्रतिशत से भी कम उपभोक्ता पर ही कुछ प्रभाव पडेगा।
9. Union Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu on 3rd July suggested a 25-point charter for urban planning and management to ensure planned urbanisation, assured amenities and decent urban life. Addressing the Conclave of Ministers of Housing and Urban Development of States and Union Territories here today, Shri Naidu called for ‘out of box’ thinking and solutions to address emerging challenges of urbanisation in the country.

10. The Government will initiate a measures to turnaround the highways sector in two years time by garnering funds to the tune of Rs 1 lakh crore in a year, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari had said.
सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कहा है कि सरकार, दो वर्षों में राजमार्ग क्षेत्र के बदलाव के लिए एक साल में 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये तक धन जुटाने के लिए एक कदम उठायेगी।
